PUBLIC PREPARATION

Building institutions
for a distant future

The Resurrection Fund is a nonprofit governance experiment built for a thousand-year horizon: members collectively compound long-term capital, preserve tamper-resistant identity preferences, and prepare resources for revival and a dignified life if the technology truly matures.

Technology can change. The mission and member rights cannot be casually rewritten.

01 / WHY

Not a prophecy.
Preparation for a possibility.

We do not promise that revival will happen, nor do we chase the first experimental success. The Fund exists to preserve choice amid scientific uncertainty through transparent, restrained, and auditable institutions.

01

Separate principal from operations

Member funds enter a long-term compounding account; operating budgets come from a constrained, separate account. The startup period has explicit caps and sunset rules, and principal is never pledged as collateral.

02

Unit NAV, not annual recalculation

Each contribution converts into permanent units at that day’s NAV. Individual value is calculated only when queried, inherited, or executed, allowing the system to scale across generations and regions.

03

Maturity before speed

A first success opens only an experimental phase. Wider execution also requires independent replication, technology-readiness review, and proof that each person’s funds can cover revival and long-term settlement.

04

Separated powers, locked mission

Legislative, executive, and judicial powers check one another. The core mission, nonprofit status, registry integrity, and decentralized governance cannot be rewritten by an ordinary majority, while technical methods and bylaws remain adaptable.

02 / PATH

Moving slowly
is part of the design.

This stage is only for public discussion, institutional documents, and an early community. No fees are collected, and registering interest does not make anyone a member.

Now

Public preparation

Refine the white paper and First Charter while gathering researchers, governance practitioners, legal experts, and financial professionals willing to join the discussion.

Next

Legal and custodial foundations

Before any funds enter, establish independent legal opinions, a compliant entity, asset custody, financial controls, and external audit arrangements.

Long term

Wait and verify

Preserve the identity registry with verifiable, portable technology while investments focus on real purchasing power. Every ten years, multiple independent parties reassess scientific, legal, and governance readiness.

When mature

Experiment, then scale

Volunteers may record non-binding advance preferences. Wider execution requires sufficient maturity, affordability, and the resources for a dignified life after revival.

Phases 1–3: no money collected, expression of interest only
